Why it matters commercially
During the first half of 2027, Serbian government leaders, international delegations, investors, and media will be concentrated in Belgrade. Meetings with decision makers are easier to arrange in that period than at other times.
The exposition is also part of a wider development program. The site's urban master plan includes a new national stadium with capacity for 52,000 people, an aquatic center, and the Expo Village, alongside major investment in transport and hospitality.
